“My story is not like a lot of others I've heard who have made big changes, become fit and lost weight. I was (and still am) very happy with my life and grateful for all I have.  I had wanted for some time to start up a fitness program, but between work and life, I didn't have the time I wanted to invest in learning all about nutrition and fitness. From the first consult call, Jake was easily the one to work with. He had the knowledge and by his practical, cheerful attitude, it seemed that we would make a great team. Jake has repeatedly said, "This isn't a diet; this is about having a healthy lifestyle". Through our consult calls and Jake's patience with my many questions, I've learned so much about how to still enjoy food (I'm a big time foodie) but also take great care of my body by giving it the nutrition it needs. I never expected to love weightlifting, and I'm doing things like diamond pushups that I've never done before. I've lost 65 lbs already, and friends and family really notice. I just went on my first mud run and really loved it. Who knows, maybe mud runs and obstacle courses are the new me!”
